Oops, how could I forget, not only did I receive just my cute little high-heeled service pieces, I also got this wonderful cake plate! It is precious! a: I love anything pink and turquoise b: I love anything with a black and white trim c: I love anything with a party theme d: I love anything "the sisters" give to me!

Birthday Sweets!

Well, these little sweeties are the beginning of a whole list of birthday goodies I have received this month! I LOVE IT! Of course, they came from no one other than two very dear friends of mine "the sisters". They would also be the ones responsible for the fabulous flamingo lady tree. I do not know how they find such wonderful gifts in this little town of ours. I cannot wait to use these to serve with at my open house on Sunday! Thank you ladies for making my day and my birthday month so very special and memorable!

...and visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.

Our dogs have quite the difficult life around our house. It was not until I quit working and stayed home, that I realized the dogs literally sleep about 23 hrs a day! And yes, they all sleep with us in bed. (we own a queen!)

Creativity to the MAX!

Okay, some people say I am creative, although I do not really think I am, but today when I opened my email I was blown away! Well, for those of you who read my blog I have referred to two special and very dear friends of mine who are sisters and their creativity is above and beyond most of our capabilities. They never cease to amaze me with their whit and unusual decorative pizazz! I never know what to expect next. Today, I received this picture of their Christmas tree, and at first glance it looked like a photo of some store window display in downtown New York or maybe it is a page torn out of a book on "creative tree decorating"! I am blown away! I can't even get a tree topper to stay straight on a tree, much less a mannequin! Her "tree skirt" is to die for! I just cannot believe it! As if the Flamingo Lady is not enough, the staging around the tree and the setting/lighting of the pic is professional to say the least. I LOVE it!!!!!!!!! Thank you ladies for inspiring me, as well as giving me something to blog about.
